Volunteers for the Tennessee Science Olympiad state tournament have a wide variety of tasks. Some of the potential tasks include:
- Being an Event Coordinator
- Assisting an Event Coordinator
- Team check-in
- Assist with food/drink organization
- Assisting attendees with direction to UTK buildings/rooms
- Awards ceremony tasks
- Assisting with the placement of event signage
Volunteer Training Tool
All volunteers will be required to complete this short 10-15 minute online Volunteer Training prior to your Science Olympiad experience. This training is relevant to both veteran and new volunteers.
Behavior Governing Guidelines
Anyone wishing to volunteer with the Tennessee State Science Olympiad tournament should become familiar with the following rules and policies found online here. These policies include a Code of Ethics and General Rules, Building & Tools Policy, Eye Protection Policy, and Lasers Policy.
